Wall Height increased at Mowbray Cemetery

To increase security measures and reduce trespassing, the Mowbray Cemetery has increased the height of the Northern border wall down Browning road spanning just over half a kilometer.

In October 2019 graves were desecrated putting the Muslim community of the Cape into panic as more than 80 tombstones were removed during the night.

The wall extension was completed after many months increasing the height of the lengthy wall making it difficult to climb over reducing incidents of theft or possible desecration.
