They wait for those who will eventually return to their Creator, reminding every visitor that the next person to occupy one of them could be anyone Faizal Sayed, Chairman of the Moslem Cemetery Board and Secretary of the Burial Administration of the Muslim Judicial Council (MJC) along with members of Mowbray Cemetery spent time at the Saaberie Chishty in Johannesburg, an institution widely respected for its extensive humanitarian outreach and its highly advanced approach to burial services. The purpose of the visit was to understand their operational model, observe their facilities, and engage with the team responsible for the dignified management of our deceased loved ones. During the walk through the Avalon cemetery, the team showed a row of open graves prepared in advance. Standing before them was a moment of quiet reflection.
