More than 50 delegates from all over the country converged at Mowbray Cemetery as the guest of the Moslem Cemetery Board. The delegation was on a visit to the City of Cape Town who hosted the SACA South African Cemeteries Association Conference.
The South African Cemeteries Association (SACA) was delighted to announce the biennial conference, in collaboration with SALGA (South African Local Government Association), AVBOB, and Memorial Parks by Calgro. This highly anticipated event will take place from the 13th to the 15th of September 2023 in the captivating city of Cape Town under the theme “Post Life⦠What Remains,”.
The delegation included distinguished academic researchers, esteemed professionals, and government and industry representatives and provided a hub of stimulating discussions, knowledge sharing, and fruitful collaborations.
The announcement of the launch of the technological advancements at Mowbray that will allow the public to search for the graves of their loved one’s was mentioned by one of the speakers noting that this announcement that will launch the facility will be made in the next couple of weeks.
